Cure for Breast Cancer?


T-cells, which are evolved white blood cells that fight against viruses, are withdrawn from cancer patients so that they are manipulated in Dr. Richard Junghan's, chief of surgical research at Roger Williams Medical Center, laboratory using gene theorpy. T-cells don't usually recognize cancerous cells. Therefore, t-cells are manipulated in the lab to identify cancerous cells as a virus or that a virus is within the cancer cell.
